Complementary to this, Prestige Academy has been awarded accreditation status with the Council on Higher Education’s Quality Committee (HEQC). This body is responsible for local accreditation of higher education institutions, learning programs (courses) that lead to specific qualifications, and promoting quality within education and training institutions in the higher education sector in South Africa.

Prestige Skills Academy is a business unit within Prestige Academy, offering short courses and skills courses. Skills Certificates are not registered on the NQF and do not carry any credits leading to a qualification recognised by SAQA. These short courses have a distinct purpose and focus, namely for knowledge and skills upgrades, or continuous professional development of employees. We have our own internal processes for quality assurance of the short courses and skills development certificate programmes.
